we latch on to emotions and situations that really just come and go. instead of letting them pass by like the clouds in the sky, we dwell on them. breathing through them and seeing them for the ephemral occurance that they really are helps us allow them to float over us without getting involved.
Couldn't agree more. Not easy, as you know. So we practice and focus our energy on the moment. Here is a wonderful quote a friend from Santa Fe shared with me a couple days ago:
“Know that you are never distracted. You are never away from That. You can't seemingly forget it, because when you are seemingly forgetting it, that is it also.”
